I’m going to Castle Museum in …
I’m going to Castle Museum in York. It’s first time to visit there. How exciting!
This is the entrance of York Castle Museum.
You can find this canon on your left when you are heading to the entrance.
Inside the museum, there is a small part of town which is called Kirkgate.
It’s quite interesting because I can have an experience.
These two buckets are quite heavy.
People who have servant in their house used to have this bathroom.
These bat were used for washing. These attract me because I remember seeing them before when I was young.
My grandmother used them a lot when she washed and hers were smaller than these.
I used this kind of washboard when I was in the army. When I was a private soldier, I wasn’t allowed to use washing machine so I had to do laundry with washboard and soap. This washboard is slightly different than I used for, and it made me recall that doing washing was hard work for me.
People used to hung over rosemary or lavender hedge because of pleased smell, however, there was also a risk that some thieves tried to steal them. In the past, clothes were quite expensive and useful for all.
This vehicle was old fire car.
When I was on the street in Kirkgate. ^^;
